The International Fountain at the Seattle Center is a popular gathering spot, especially on a hot day. On one sunny summer afternoon I spent a couple of hours photographing the people out and about enjoying the weather and the water.
I played around with different shutter speeds to get different effects on the fountain, from cascading streams to a cloud of individual water droplets.
Some of my favorite photos were the ones I shot directly into the sun, which made the children splashing in the fountain appear as silhouettes amidst the spray.
