Adventure Travel Trade Association
The Client:
With 1,000 members in 80 countries, the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) is the world’s leading professional organization for tour operators, tourism boards, specialty agents, accommodations, and others with a vested interest in the sustainable development of adventure tourism. Through professional learning and regional and global networking events, including its flagship Adventure Travel World Summit, the ATTA provides competitive opportunities and tools to help its members establish themselves as leaders in adventure tourism.
The Project:
I have been actively involved with the ATTA since 2009, including attending all but one of the past seven Adventure Travel World Summits as a media delegate.
As a result of this connection, the ATTA hired me to write an article for the organization’s Adventure Travel News, reporting on an ATTA event held at the University of Washington’s Burke Museum in Seattle.
